The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) describes transportation planning work that will be done by Maui MPO over a period of one to two years. The UPWP includes a budget for staff, planning studies and activities to carry out the metropolitan transportation planning process. Through this work, Maui MPO ensures that Maui continues to receive federal money for transportation needs like roads, bridges, paths and buses.
